Falconer Design were appointed by ANEW Hotels & Resorts to reimagine ANEW Resort Wilderness, repositioning the property as a refined coastal destination rooted in its historical setting.
The refurbishment is guided by the concept “Wilderness Coastal Colonial Revival”, reinterpreting Cape Colonial architecture through a modern, sophisticated lens. The design blends heritage references with contemporary detailing to create a calm, immersive guest experience.
Natural textures, lime-washed finishes, coastal greys, warm timber tones, and subtle brass accents define the interiors across public spaces and guest rooms. The result is a cohesive expression of understated luxury — where coastal authenticity and modern comfort meet.
